Omm Energy was founded in 2000 by Mr. Manas Ranjan Acharya, driven by a clear vision to promote and expand clean energy adoption across Odisha. With over 20 years of corporate experience in leading organisations such as ITC, Coca-Cola, Airtel, Simpa Energy, and Haldirams across FMCG and telecom, he brings a strong blend of strategic and operational expertise to the renewable sector. He is an active member of the Odisha Corporate Foundation (OCF), BNI – Business Network International, and the Odisha Cleantech Alliance, continuously expanding collaborations within the industry.
Passionate about enabling sustainable growth, Mr. Acharya has been instrumental in driving key government initiatives including PM Suryaghar Yojana, PM-KUSUM, and village electrification projects—successfully supporting the electrification of 55 non-electrified villages. With his deep commitment to clean energy and community development, he continues to lead Omm Energy toward strengthening Odisha’s renewable energy mission and empowering households across the state.
